“We had American Crawlspace out to take a look at the crawlspace in our home. Our home was built in 1998 making it 26 years old. We were worried about possible mold and rodent type pests in the crawlspace. After the initial inspection, we were assured we did not have a mold problem nor was there any sign of rodents/pests. The pictures they took backed this up. A huge relief. What the inspection did show was a need to redo the heavy black plastic that covers the dirt in the crawlspace as well as taking out a small amount of old insulation and replacing it. We also needed to replace the clothes dryer ducting that had come unhooked from the vent inside the laundry room and had fallen onto the dirt in the crawlspace. The estimate we received was very detailed and very reasonable. We made the appointment for the following week to have the needed work done. Francisco, Oscar and Caesar came out and in a little under 3 hours had everything done and completely cleaned up and hauled away. They even showed us the before and after pictures! Everyone at American Crawlspace, from the scheduler on the phone, to Mark and Julian who did the initial inspection, to Francisco, Oscar and Caesar, were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Without hesitation we can highly recommend American Crawlspace. Give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I remodel houses, and in my latest house I needed the crawlspace insulated, so I started getting estimates. They were ranging from $6,000 to almost $9,000. Yikes! The worst part was that they all claimed that PSE rebates were built into their estimates. Fortunately, I kept looking, and contacted American Crawlspace. Their estimate SHOWED the rebates AFTER their cost estimate. So their $6,000 cost (which included more than the other guys for that price) dropped my final out-of-pocket to around $3,000. So not only were the other places charging way more to start, but they were keeping the rebates! What a scam! Obviously, I went with American, and they not only were terrific to work with (helpful, friendly, quick to reply to all questions), they showed up on time and did a GREAT job. I went down in the crawlspace to inspect it, and they did VERY high quality work. I will not hesitate to work with them again. If you need insulation work done, you would be wise to contact these folks and let them bid on your project.”
