Air Duct Sealing
Air ducts are used in homes with forced-air heating and cooling systems to distribute the heated or cooled air throughout the house.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, in a typical home about 20 to 30 percent of the air that moves through the duct system is lost due to leaks, holes, and poorly connected ducts. Ducts that leak heated air into unheated spaces can add hundreds of dollars a year to heating bills.

Heated or cooled air loss results in higher energy bills and reduced comfort in the home.  Proper sealing of the air ducts will eliminate the air loss and help reduce energy bills.

Air Duct Insulation
Poorly or un-insulated air ducts lose heat through heat conduction from the bare metal of the air duct coming in contact with the cool air of the crawlspace or attic.  In the same way that an insulated cup will keep a hot beverage hot for a longer time versus an un-insultated cup, insulated ducts keep the heat in.
